Five Hurt In Dodge County Accident

Five people were injured in a two-vehicle accident in the Town of Beaver Dam early Thursday afternoon.  Dodge County Sheriff’s officials say 81-year-old Harold Dittmann of Watertown exited Highway 33 with his Nissan pickup truck, but failed to stop at an intersection and his truck entered the southbound Highway 151 on ramp where it struck a Chrysler van. Thirty-two-year-old Jauntee Emmer of Beaver Dam was driving the van that had three children in it (ages 9, 8, and 6-years-old). Occupants from both vehicles were taken to Beaver Dam Community Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The accident was reported at 12:13 p.m.
