Fond du Lac Man Sentenced to Prison for Sexually Assaulting a Young Girl

A 41-year-old
man from Fond du Lac
who was convicted in the sexual assault of a six-year-old girl is going to
prison. Shane Berg was sentenced to 18 years in prison and 15 years of extended
supervision in Fond du Lac County
Court Tuesday. Berg plead no contest to a second
degree sexual assault of a child charge in January. 18-year-old Tory Tuinstra
was sentenced to 13 years in prison and 15 years of extended supervision last
month. The girl’s mother, 40-year-old Ellen Neumann, was found guilty in
January of failing to protect her daughter from the assaults. She is scheduled to be sentenced today. Berg, Tuinstra,
Neumann and her daughter lived in apartments on Ruggles Street that were separated by a
door which they left open at night. Tuinstra told investigators the lifestyle
in the home was dominance/submissive and that Berg went by the name “Master
Wolf”.
