Fondy Football Fans to Embrace #Glowingforyou62 to Remember Springs Football Player
Fans attending Friday night’s Fondy football game against
Hartland Arrowhead at Fruth Field will have a chance to buy “GREEN” glow
necklaces at the game to honor the life of Trent Schueffner. The necklaces will
be a dollar a piece – with all proceeds donated to the Schueffner family.
The
St. Mary’s
football player was shot and killed in a hunting accident last week.
Immediately following the incident, people around the community burst out with
efforts to support the Schueffner family, bringing in donations and coming
together. Fond du Lac High School Senior Madison Hughes says Schueffner touched
the lives of countless people throughout the community.
The glow necklaces
will be sold at Fruth Field and by students throughout the stadium. The hashtag #glowingforyou62 was also
created to commemorate the event and allow the community of
