Former Fondy Man Found Guilty Of Charges Stemming From Shooting Incidents

A Fond du Lac County jury this week found a 21-year-old Ripon man guilty of seven of the ten charges brought against him for firing guns off in Fond du Lac and North Fond du Lac neighborhoods in October of 2013. At the time Mason Paasch was living in Fond du Lac. No one was hurt during the incidents, which prompted a heavy police response. Among the charges he was found guilty of was carrying a concealed weapon, resisting arrest, and possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts each of discharging a firearm within 100 yards of a building, and disorderly conduct with a dangerous weapon. He was found not guilty of two counts of using firearms while intoxicated and one count of discharging a firearm from a vehicle. Paasch will be sentenced next Wednesday morning.
