Former State Senator Hired To Lobby For Right To Work Passage

Former State Senator Joe Leibham is now working as a lobbyist for Wisconsin’s Chamber of Commerce. Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce announced Thursday it had hired the former senator for the 9th State Senate District to help convince legislators to pass Right to Work legislation. Scott Manley the WMC Vice President of Government Relations says, “Joe is a consensus builder who will help foster a meaningful discussion about the positive benefits of Right to Work in the Senate and throughout the entire legislature.” Leibham chose not to run for reelection instead campaigning for the 6th Congressional District seat, but he lost to Glenn Grothman in the GOP primary in August. Grothman eventually won the congressional seat in November.
