Former Walker Cabinet Secretary Speaks Out Against Governor

A fourth former Cabinet secretary in
Governor Scott Walker’s administration is now speaking out against the governor
– and calling for people to support his Democratic opponent, Tony Evers.

Former
Green Bay mayor and the first secretary of Walker’s economic development
agency, Paul Jadin, claims he quit his $208,000 a year job at the
Madison Regional Economic Partnership this week so he could comment freely. He
also signed an open letter slamming Walker
– which was also signed by former Corrections Secretary Ed Wall and former
Financial Institutions Secretary Peter Bildsten.

Walker’s campaign issued a statement praising
work of the economic development agency since Jadin left, but did not address
his criticism of the governor.
