Foundation For RMC Golf Outing Experiences Best Year

Individuals in the Ripon area have once again shown their strong support of the Foundation for Ripon Medical Center by helping the Foundation for Ripon Medical Center raise more than $25,000 to help purchase automated external defibrillators (AEDs), which use an electric shock to help the heart return to its normal rhythm of contraction. This was the event’s most profitable year.

A total of 90 golfers enjoyed a day of fun and fellowship at the Foundation for Ripon Medical Center’s annual Charity Golf Outing at the Woodlands course at the Golf Courses of Lawsonia. The outing featured golfing, dinner, along with a live and silent auction.

“We look forward to taking these proceeds and working in collaboration with area businesses and organizations to provide lifesaving AEDs throughout the communities that Ripon Medical Center serves,” says Rita Meidam, Foundation for Ripon Medical Center executive director. “We know that AEDs play a vital role in ensuring a successful outcome following a heart attack.”

Event sponsors were: Agnesian Pharmacy, Cal-Ray, CD Smith Construction, Consultants Laboratory, Energy Control & Design, Inc., Horicon Bank, JF Ahern, Jack Twohig Carpet One, Dr. Tom Kloosterboer, Magnum Power Products, Omni Glass & Paint, Ripon Drug, Ripon Electric, Ripon Rotary, Spies Painting, Inc., The Berlin Journal, Total Med Staffing, Twohig Flooring America, Waste Management and Zimmerman Architectural.
