Four Injured In Accident In Town Of Friendship

Four Oshkosh residents suffered non-life threatening injuries when their vehicle rolled over on Highway 45 in the Town of Friendship Tuesday night. Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Captain Rick Olig says the 53-year-old woman driving the northbound vehicle went off the right side of the road, overcorrected, crossed the road and went into a ditch where the vehicle rolled over. He says it appears speed and inattentive driving may have been factors, but there were snow-covered spots on the road. The driver was partially ejected. She was partially pinned under the vehicle and was taken to Theda Clark. She wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. Also hurt in the crash were a 15 year old girl, 17-year-old boy, and 49-year-old woman. They were taken to St. Agnes Hospital. A 6-week-old boy was firmly buckled in a child’s car seat and wasn’t injured. The accident was reported just before 9:30.
