Four Seen Leaving Park Just Before Playground Fire

Fond du Lac Police are looking for four people seen leaving Hamilton Park just before a fire that destroyed playground equipment in the park. Assistant Police Chief Steve Klein says two males and two females were seen leaving the park just before the fire. The fire happened about 8 p.m. that night.  He says while people living in the neighborhood surrounding the park may have been upset by the blaze, it also affects the children that play at the park. He says they are offering a reward through their Crime Alert Fund leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for the fire. He says people can call anonymously. He says it’s hoped they will get tips that will help them break the crime. The Crime Alert number is 322-3740 or you can call the non-emergency dispatch number 906-5555.
