Garden Walk To Benefit Hospice Hope

Enhancing the quality of life for patients and families facing terminal illnesses is a key part of Agnesian HealthCare’s Hospice Hope program. An interdisciplinary team works with patients and their families, dealing with their physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs, at a time when a curative approach to care is no longer available.

This year’s Agnesian HealthCare Foundation Garden Walk & Art Fair will help raise money to help support the Hospice Hope program, offering pain and symptom management and the supportive services of a professional and volunteer team to enhance the quality of life for patients and families, enabling them to live as fully as possible.

The 2015 Garden Walk & Art Fair is set from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 12, rain or shine.

“Agnesian HealthCare has provided innovative hospice care services for nearly 40 years as one of the early leaders in the state of Wisconsin,” says Rita Meidam, Agnesian HealthCare Foundation executive director. “Since 1980, our hospice team has worked to grow and enhance services, including the establishment of bereavement outreach services to hundreds of families within the Agnesian HealthCare system who never reach hospice and still need comfort, hope and prayer.”

Garden walk participants will have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of nature and the joy and inspiration from strolling well-manicured surroundings.

Six beautiful gardens will be featured this year. They are located at:

  • Eric & Danielle Joslin, N8416 Sunset Drive, St. Peter
  • Dan & Darcy Zeleske, N5604 Boyke Drive, Fond du Lac
  • Gene & Pat Klapperich, 22 Woodcrest Court, Fond du Lac
  • Kevin & Loree Shady, 15 Willow Creek Court, Fond du Lac
