Gas Leak In FDL

No injuries were reported during a gas leak in Fond du Lac Monday morning. Assistant Fire Chief Todd Janquart says they got a call shortly before 8:30 about a gas leak at the intersection of Scott Street and Industrial Parkway. A construction crew severed a 4-inch gas line causing a large amount of natural gas to leak. Scott Street was closed from both sides of Industrial Parkway while an Alliant Energy crew shut down the natural gas supply to the leak. Firefighters were on the scene for about an hour.
