Gas Price Report ; Prices in WI Jump Slightly to Start December
The average cost for a gallon of gas in Wisconsin is up
five cents from last week as the Thanksgiving holiday weekend is behind us and
the month od December begins.
According to data from Triple-A, drivers in Wisconsin are
seeing an average price of $2.41 a gallon, up from $2.36 last week. Drivers in
Fond du Lac County are seeing a price at the pump of $2.36 a gallon, with
nearby Calumet County having the lowest price in the state at $2.29. Washburn
County in northwest Wisconsin has the highest price in the state at $2.65.
Around the nation, the average price for a gallon of
regular unleaded held steady from last week – sitting at $2.59. California
still has the highest price in the nation at $3.80, Louisiana and Mississippi
have the lowest at $2.22.
