Gas Prices Dropping Several Cents Ahead of Thanksgiving Travel

As we plan our trips for Thanksgiving – gas prices are
seeing another major drop. According to GasBuddy, the average price of a gallon
of gas plummeted in the Green Bay
area, falling 11.9 cents to $2.47 over the weekend. Appleton also saw a drop of nearly a dime to
$2.48. The national average fell almost six cents to $2.62.

Here in Fond du Lac, we’re seeing
difference of more than a nickel since last week – with prices down to $2.33 in
some spots. Triple-A estimates more than 54-million people will travel 50 miles
or more from home between Wednesday and Saturday.
