General Mills Issues Flour Recall

General Mills is recalling five-pound bags of its Gold Medal
Unbleached Flour for the potential presence of salmonella. The recalled bags
have a “better if used by” date of April 20th, 2020. The presence of
salmonella was detected during sampling of the product No consumers have
reported any illnesses related to the product, but the company is issuing the
voluntary recall out of an abundance of caution. The recall only affects the
one specific date code – all other types of Gold Medal Flour are not affected.
