Governor Appoints FDL County Register Of Deeds Appointed
Governor Scott Walker has appointed Shawn Kelly as the Register of Deeds for Fond du Lac County. Kelly is currently the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh controller and is filling a vacancy created by the death of Patricia Kraus. The Governor says Kelly served the UW-Oshkosh for over 16 years and believes his experience managing the University’s financial affairs will make him an asset to the County. Kelly has also served as a member of the City of Fond du Lac Historical Preservation Committee, the Finance, Asset, and Liabilities Committee at the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh Credit Union, and the Board of Advisors for Head Start Winnebago County. He is also currently a member of the Board of Directors and treasurer for the Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac. Kelly received his bachelor’s degree in accounting at Luther College and a master’s degree in organizational leadership and quality at Marian University.
