Governor Evers looking to decriminalize marijuana in WI

Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers is looking to take the first steps toward legal marijuana in the state. According to the Wisconsin State Journal, Governor Evers will propose both a medical marijuana program and to decriminalize small amounts of pot across the state. Evers is looking to allow people with chronic pain, PTSD, cancer, and a number of other medical conditions to apply for a special marijuana card. Republicans in the State Assembly have said they don’t want to make it easier for people to get pot in Wisconsin.
