Governor In FDL Today

29-Aug-2013

Governor Scott Walker will be in Fond du Lac late this morning to attend the grand opening for Wells Vehicle Electronics. The company has undergone a multi-million dollar expansion at its corporate headquarters on Rolling Meadows Drive. The $7.1 million project involved adding 62,000 square feet to the facility. It also retained 214 jobs and is expected to create another 73 jobs in the next three years. The City created a Tax Incremental Finance District to aid in the project, which also involved a $500,000 loan through the Fond du Lac County Economic Development Corporation. The state’s role in the project involved giving the company $1.25 million in tax credits. (Wells photo)

Is this the same governor that can't find any money to support public education or public employees? Yep..! Thats him busy putting all of the business men "on the dole". I suppose that will help his re-election campaign funds not to mention that villa he needs.

It's amazing how this worthless jerk just shows up where jobs are created even when he had nothing to do with it directly. The state tax credits were in effect before this nazi was ever in office!!
