Grandstand Acts For FDL County Fair Announced

Fond du Lac County Fair officials have announced the musical acts that will be performing on the Grandstand this July. Fair Manager Matt Immel says they will begin with the tractor pull on Wednesday, July 15th followed by musical acts on Thursday, Friday and Saturday of the Fair. On Thursday Grand Funk Railroad will perform, on Friday Slaughter and Great White and on Saturday there will be a truck pull in the afternoon and Montgomery Gentry will perform that evening. Immel says last year they only had two nights of musical entertainment on the Grandstand, but decided to bump it up to three this year. He says it’s gotten more difficult to get national acts booked, but their goal is to bring in a decent variety of entertainment that people don’t have to travel to see. Sunday, July 19th the Grandstand entertainment will be a horse pull and demolition derby. Tickets for the Fond du Lac County Fair go on sale on April 20th.
