Green Lake County Having Trouble With Trespassing Coyote Hunters

Green Lake County Sheriff Mark Podoll is warning coyote hunters that they have to get permission to be on private land. He says a Markesan landowner recently called him about trespassing issues with hunters. He says there have been increased reports from residents that have seen or heard coyotes in the County and the hunting them has gained in popularity. Podoll says you may run the risk of not getting permission from a landowner to be on their land, but you still have to ask otherwise you are trespassing. The fine for trespassing is $263.50.
