Grothman Picks Up Addition Vote In FDL County Canvass

The Fond du Lac County Board of Canvassers yesterday completed their canvass of voting in last Tuesday’s primary election. According to County Clerk Lisa Freiberg after the count in the 6th Congressional Republican Primary State Senator Glenn Grothman picked up one vote to finish with 4,127 votes, there was no change for State Senator Joe Leibham who finished second with 2,707 votes and State Representative Duey Stroebel picked up two votes to finish third with 2,441 votes. Finishing last was Tom Denow who received 388 votes and didn’t pick up any additional votes. Freiberg says there were 7 outstanding ballots and 5 of them were Democratic and two were Republican. Other counties in the 6th Congressional District will canvass the vote today.
