Grothman Receives Award For Championing Small Business

Congressman Glenn Grothman (R-Glenbeulah) this past week received the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) Guardian of Small Business Award.

Grothman received the award because of his strong small business voting record in Congress. The Guardian of Small Business Award is the most prestigious award given out by the NFIB and is only awarded to legislators who vote in favor of small businesses on key issues – including taxes, healthcare and regulations – at least 70 percent of the time. Grothman received a 100 percent rating from the NFIB.

“Protecting small businesses from government overreach has been one of my main priorities since my time in the state legislature and certainly since I’ve been in Congress,” said Grothman. “The NFIB does great work in Wisconsin with more than 11,000 members in our state, so it’s an honor to be recognized by this organization.”

Grothman was presented with the award by NFIB President and CEO Juanita Duggan
