Grothman Supports Career And Technical Education Bill

Congressman Glenn Grothman recently voted in favor of federal legislation that supports more flexible use of federal funds for career and technical education. Grothman says someone with a technical education can be paid well and get into the workforce sooner than someone who goes to college for four or more years. Grothman says he recently spoke to a business owner who has been trying to fill a position for a 3rd shift electrician for two years. He says jobs are available for people with the technical education to fill them. He says it is no longer practical to ring up a big debt for a college education that may not get you work after you have it.
