Ground Broken For Addition At MPTC FDL Campus
Heavy rain didn’t keep Moraine Park from breaking ground on its new Fond du Lac Campus Student Services Center addition and remodeling project this past Monday. Ceremonial groundbreakers are, from left: Tim Flood, MPTC director of facilities; Mike Staral, MPTC district board member; Melanie Parma, associate and senior architectural designer, Somerville Architects & Engineers; MPTC President Sheila Ruhland; District Board Member Lowell Prill; Kim Dickinson, MPTC 2014-15 student ambassador; Mike Kadow, president, Somerville Architects & Engineers; Joey Clark, MPTC district student government and Fond du Lac campus student senate representative; and Adam Osier, Capelle Bros. & Diedrich.
The new addition will feature a more defined entrance for the campus and a student services area. The 5,212 square-foot addition should be completed by late November. It’s a $1.5 million project.
