Habitat Gets A Hand

Lineage Retirement Advisors a financial advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial in Fond du Lac, recently joined forces with Habitat for Humanity. The volunteer activity is one way Ameriprise Financial, together with the company’s advisors, employees and retirees is supporting local communities.

Mark Rasner, an Ameriprise financial advisor, suggested the volunteer activity. “Ameriprise Financial is dedicated to supporting organizations that share our goal of improving lives and building strong communities,” explained Rasner. “I applaud my friends and colleagues, John Rosenfeldt, Tom Harmsen, Nick Zanders and Pamela Vanderhoof who came together to support this worthwhile cause.”

Habitat for Humanity’s vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Anchored by the conviction that housing provides a critical foundation for breaking the cycle of poverty, Habitat has helped more than 4 million people construct, rehabilitate or preserve homes since 1976. As a nonprofit Christian housing organization, Habitat works in more than 70 countries and welcomes people of all races, religions and nationalities to partner in its mission.
