Hearing Delayed For Former NFDL Instructional Aide

A preliminary hearing was delayed last Friday for a former instructional aide at the North Fond du Lac High School charged with seven felony counts of sexual assault of a student by school staff. Dominic Carmona did not have a lawyer when he appeared in Fond du Lac County Court so his preliminary hearing was rescheduled for this Friday. According to the criminal complaint the 45-year-old Oshkosh man had a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old girl beginning last December 1st and ending at the end of January. The two allegedly met during a study hall and he gave her his cell phone number. He resigned from his position with the school district on February 3rd. He was a teacher at Horace Mann High School for nearly 5 years. He’s being held in the Fond du Lac County Jail on a $30,000 cash bond.
