Hearts To Heroes Ride A Success

The Hearts to Heroes Charity Motorcycle Ride held over Walleye Weekend was a success. It featured a pre-party at Open Road Harley-Davidson, a ride through the Kettle Moraine and a stop at Walleye Weekend to enjoy festival music and the day. Participating were 103 bikes and 170 riders. The event raised net proceeds of $7,618. In addition, the Walleye Weekend ecumenical service contributed upwards of $400. The money will be used to purchase a new to transport Fond du Lac County veterans to medical and other appointments. A check presentation was recently made to officials at the Fond du Lac American Legion Post.
