High Speed Chase

On Wednesday August 6, 2014, at 4:42 PM a Deputy from the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office observed a vehicle matching the description of a missing endangered subject reported by the Cudahy Police Department on August 5th. After the Deputy made his initial observation, the Deputy attempted to stop the vehicle and a pursuit occurred for approximately 7.3 miles into the City of Fond du Lac. The vehicle stopped after striking a park vehicle on 4th St. As a result of the pursuit, two Fond du Lac County squads received minor damage. Two Deputies received minor injuries as a result of the pursuit and were transported by ambulance to St. Agnes Hospital. The operator and passenger of the fleeing vehicle also received minor injuries and were transported by ambulance to St. Agnes Hospital.
The passenger and both Deputies were treated and release from St. Agnes Hospital. The driver of the fleeing vehicle was taking into custody by the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office.
Assisting at the scene were the Wisconsin State Patrol, City of Fond du Lac Police Department and City of Fond du Lac Fire Department.
