High Speed Chase Suspect Pleads “Not Guilty”

The man accused of leading a Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputy on a high speed chase late last month says he is “Not Guilty” of the charges against him.

27-year old Kevin O’Brien of Sussex waived his right to a preliminary hearing on Thursday prior to entering the plea. He is charged with second-degree recklessly endangering safety, fleeing an officer, and bail jumping.

A deputy clocked his vehicle going over 100-miles an hour along Interstate 41 – and the 12-mile pursuit ended in Dodge County, after another deputy used tire deflation devices to stop the chase.

No future court dates have been set at this time.
