Highway 23 Resurfacing Project Begins

Map by the Wisconsin DOT

The
Highway 23 resurfacing project between Fond
du Lac
and Rosendale begins today. The Wisconsin DOT
tells us that the 8.25 mile stretch will be closed until the end of August,
while crews repair pavement, replace culvert
pipes, perform storm sewer repairs, signing replacements and more. The bridge
over the Fond du Lac
River
will also be
resurfaced. Traffic will be detoured using Interstate 41 and Highway 26. The
project is expected to last until October, with the road open to traffic during
construction beginning at the end of August.
