Highway Department Incident Under Investigation

Fond du Lac Police are investigating a report of people trespassing on County Highway Department property and crashing trucks through a fence over the weekend. Saturday afternoon, two unknown people apparently got into unlocked trucks at the facility along Dixie Street before hitting the fence and getting the vehicles stuck in the mud. Another truck appears to have been driven around inside the fenced yard. Officers believe the keys had been left in the ignition of the trucks. No suspects have been identified.
