Hot Spots Flare Up At Didion Plant Explosion Site

Nearly two weeks after a deadly explosion and fire at the Didion corn mill in Cambria, firefighters are still dealing with small flare-ups in the rubble left behind. Sunday night firefighters were called to the plant after reports of flames and smoke from the wreckage. Columbia County sheriff’s deputies say there have been a number of small fires as heat spots form, and fire crews have been monitoring them.  Four employees were killed in the blast and nearly a dozen more injured.
