Hwy 145 Improvements Begin In Washington County Monday

Work begins Monday on a stretch of Highway 145 from Mequon Road to County P in Washington County. Department of Transportation officials say the project includes resurfacing the road, improving the sidewalk and replacing a guardrail at the bridge over the Menomonee River. The railroad crossing on Pilgrim Road will also be replaced. There will be a detour in effect starting Monday, July 17th. While the railroad crossing is being replaced, Highway 145 will be completely closed. That’s expected to be during the week of July 24th. The project is expected to be wrapped up by late summer.
