Identity of accident victims released

Authorities have released the names of the victims involved in the Friday afternoon traffic accident that left 1 person dead and another injured. 32-year-old Macnelli Martinez of Malone was killed and 42-year old Henry Wagner from St. Cloud injured, in a two-vehicle crash in the Town of Marshfield Friday afternoon. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office along with Mount Calvary Fire and Ambulance and City of Fond du Lac Ambulance responded to the crash around 3:23 pm on County Highway G south of Hickory Road. Martinez was driving north on County Highway G when she drove onto the shoulder and over-corrected, causing her car to roll over. Her car then hit the pickup truck driven by Wagner. Martinez was pronounced dead at the scene while Wagner was transported by ambulance for treatment of minor injuries.
