Increase Approved for NFDL Ambulance Rates

The
North Fond du Lac Village
Board recently approved an increase in service rates for ambulance service.
Village Administrator Chuck Hornung says the increase follows a recommendation
from the Emergency Management Service Advisory Committee. “We met as a group to
just discuss the rates and we use Life Quest to do our billing. They provide
us a list of similar sized municipalities, similar sized service and show the
rates they are charging.” The increase will help cover increasing operational
costs and start building a reserve for new vehicles. The new rates have already
gone into effect.
