J.F. Ahern Awarded Contract for Foxconn Project

Fond du Lac-based J.F. Ahern has been announced as one of four
new companies receiving a bid award to assist in the construction of Foxconn’s Wisconn
Valley Science and Technology Park in Racine County.

Foxconn announced Monday that J.F. Ahern received a
contract to perform Mechanical and Plumbing Work for Office and Assembly. The
new contract awards carry a total value of $31 million, bringing the total
amount for construction contracts for work at the park to around $350 million. Other
companies receiving contracts in the latest round of bids include: United
States Alliance Fire Protection from New Berlin, Morse Electric of Beloit and Staff
Electric from Butler.
