Joint Transportation Committee Formed For FDL County

A joint committee of the Fond du Lac Area Association of Commerce (AC) and the Fond du Lac County Economic Development Corporation (FCEDC) has been established to create awareness about transportation issues impacting economic development and safety within Fond du Lac County.

The purpose of the committee is to bring a common focus to the transportation issues within the county and to assist in speaking with a more impactful local voice as these issues are addressed at the state level. The committee will meet regularly to review current transportation issues and act as a conduit of communication to impacted businesses.

Activity of this committee will be centered on future plans to help ensure infrastructure is aligned with business, safety and quality of life considerations. Rallying to a common set of transportation priorities is essential. While the committee is not a lobbying or political action group, its work on this is important as we work collaboratively to build our economy and attract and retain the type of workforce talent that is required to position Fond du Lac County for future success and prosperity.

The joint transportation committee, which reports to the organizations’ Boards of Directors, is co-chaired by Troy Rademann-Bomier Properties, Chair Elect of the FCEDC, and Todd Huempfner-ACH Foam Technologies, Chair Elect of the AC. Other committee members include: Mike Berg-Summit Automotive; Mark Weber-Mark Weber Real Estate and Consulting, Jeff Liddicoat-Horicon Bank, and Tony Faust-Schenck SC.
