Juneau Woman Bound Over For Trial For Biting Cop

The 26-year-old Juneau woman who allegedly bit a police officer after breaking into a Mayville tavern has been bound over for trial. Anna Smith waived her preliminary hearing in Dodge County Court Thursday. The incident happened at Sidelines Tap. Police had to use pepper spray on her to subdue after she became uncooperative and bit an officer on the arm. Officers responded to a call after a witness saw two women damage a window at the bar and climb through it. She will be arraigned next month.
