Jury Trial Set in Lomira Truckstop Attack

A Milwaukee man now faces a three-day jury trial related to charges for an alleged assault and robbery of a truck driver at a Lomira wayside. 24-year old Keenan Brown faces two felony charges of Robbery with the Use of Force and Substantial Battery. An out-of-state truck driver was attacked while at the rest area along Interstate 41 last September – suffering a fractured jaw, brain hemorrhaging, head lacerations, and the loss of a tooth. DNA tests reportedly confirmed Brown’s involvement with the attack. The trial is set to begin in late February. If convicted, he faces up to 18 and a half years in prison.
