Kachinsky Appears in Court on Stalking Charges

A Fox Crossing municipal judge appeared on the other side of the courtroom Monday as a defendant in a felony stalking case. Len Kachinsky faces accusations that he has been harassing a court clerk since April of last year and threatened to terminate her position back in March. He also reportedly made other threatening comments and talked in detail about private matters of the woman’s life.

He is also known for his position as the public defender appointed to serve during Brendan Dassey’s murder trial. Kachinsky is charged with felony stalking and two misdemeanor counts of violating a restraining order, which could land him behind bars for up to five years. He is set to return to court next month.
