Kaul Joins Lawsuit Preventing Deporting Of International Students

14-Jul-2020

Attorney General Josh Kaul is joining 18 other AGs in filing a lawsuit to prevent ICE from deporting international students who are taking remote classes. AG Kaul says having international students here in the US is entirely beneficial.

"There are students who contribute to the advancement of science and other fields, and this is the way that we can help project American values around the world."

The move comes as schools across the country struggle with how and if to reopen for in person classes this fall.

So maybe they can come to live at Mr Kaul's house? He can keep track of them?
Being here is a privilege, not a right.

The UW system needs the financial resources the international students. Having the students here is positive not negative.

I wish I could get the help/services they get, I am a citizen, that doesn't count.

President changed his mind about the students. Too much blow back.
