Kay Miller Seeks Second Term On FDL City Council

Kay Miller says after two years on the Fond du Lac City Council she has a better idea about how it works and would like to continue her role on it. Miller says she is excited about the progress they’ve made on recommendations to revitalize the downtown and improve Lakeside Park. She serves on the Art Board, which will have a role in the revitalization. Miller says they want to make downtown Fond du Lac inviting for people to put their businesses in, stay in, and live in. She says, “It’s an encompassing thing and it’s not an easy task, but I really feel that we are making really good advances towards getting this downtown revitalized.” Miller also believes the public safety training facility for the police and fire departments is a great project. She says, “I will stand behind that project. I understand in today’s world what’s happening with training and being ready and if you are not training properly it is very hard to be that ready in a moment’s notice.” Miller feels she has done a good job of listening to resident’s concerns and bringing them to the Council. She is one of five candidates running for four seats on the Council.
