Kelly Norton Named SMSA President

Kelly Norton’s interim title has been removed and she is now officially the president of St. Mary’s Springs Academy in Fond du Lac. The Academy’s board of directors gave her the interim title in March. At the time she was the director of advancement. Norton succeeds Kevin Shaw who left for a job in Green Bay. In making the announcement the SMSA Board of Directors President Carol Hyland said, “After a thorough and extensive interview process, the search committee felt that through her term as Interim President, and throughout the interview process, Kelly has demonstrated she has the leadership skills, knowledge and vision to continually advance St. Mary’s Springs Academy.” Norton oversaw the Second Century Campaign, which raised over $22 million to locate the entire academy on the Ledge. Norton says, “I am humbled and honored to be chosen to take on the role of President for St. Mary’s Springs Academy. I am excited to be able continue the tradition of superior Catholic Education in the Fond du Lac area and be part of the bright future ahead of us as we continue to increase enrollment and watch the construction of our new facility.” stated Norton.
