Kevin Miller On Leaving Thelma And FDL

Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts Executive Director Kevin Miller says he expects the arts movement in Fond du Lac will remain strong after he leaves for a similar job in Eau Claire. He says his own role with Thelma has changed over the last couple of years to include a role as chairman of the Wisconsin Arts Board. He says Jacqui Corsi, who has been named interim executive director at Thelma, has a team that does most of the work that freed him up for other responsibilities. Recently Thelma hosted a presentation by Governor Walker on the importance of having a creative economy. Miller believes Fond du Lac is a good example of that. He says leaving Fond du Lac after 10 years to become the executive director of the Confluence Art Center was a decision that benefits his family. He says it will be tough for them to leave Fond du Lac.
