KFIZ Carrying State Of The State Address This Afternoon

Governor Scott Walker will give his State of the State Address this afternoon before a joint session of the State Senate and Assembly. State Senator Dan Feyen expects the Governor to talk about how well the state’s economy is doing. Feyen says, “We got a good economy in Wisconsin. You know one of the things we did in this last budget we eliminated two taxes. That is one thing you never hear of is politicians eliminating a tax.” Feyen also expects the Governor to talk about the additional $649 million invested in the K-12 education system, the continued UW-System tuition freeze, and additional money included in transportation aid. KFIZ will be carrying the State of the State Address live at 3 p.m. this afternoon.
