Monthly Water Bill Option Reviewed For FDL City Council

Fond du Lac Public Works Director Jordan Skiff recently reviewed going to monthly water bills for the City Council. Skiff covered it while going over his department’s budget needs. He felt for the sake of newer members on the Council he should review the issue. He says paying those bills on a monthly basis would help out some residents and landlords who end up paying the bills when tenants don’t. He says they did survey residents on the option. He says average customers didn’t really have a desire to go to a monthly billing and they would have needed an extra person to do the billing. Skiff says monthly billing is always an option the Council can consider.

Sebert says they would like to make improvements mostly for the safety of students using the tennis courts.
