Kolstad Runs For Second Term On FDL City Council
Fond du Lac City Councilman Brian Kolstad is seeking a second two-year on the Council next month. Kolstad also serves on the County Board. He says economic development and in particular attracting the people needed for the workforce as a big issue. He says there will be a major turnover in our workforce over the next 10 to 20 years and Fond du Lac’s success will be based on attracting the next generation of workers and entrepreneurs to our community. He says that means building up the downtown. He also feels our parks have a role in that as well. As for running for Council he says he’s always looked for ways to give back to the community. He says through the City Council it is a good way to show and challenge yourself to find out what makes you who you are. Kolstad is one of five candidates running for three seats on the Council.
