Lake Winneconne Death Under Investigation

Winnebago County authorities are investigating the death of a man found in Lake Winneconne on Saturday. Deputies responded around 5:00pm that afternoon for the report of an unconscious man in the water near Hidden Harbor Marina. He was believed to be using a personal watercraft before going into the water. Bystanders were able to pull the man to shore. He was then taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released.
