Lakeside Park Development On City Council Agenda

11-Jun-2014

Fond du Lac City Manager Joe Moore will give a presentation to the City Council tonight on the potential for commercial development in Lakeside Park. Some Council members had asked for a discussion. In a memo to the Council Moore noted a 1982 referendum blocked commercial development in the area known as Frazier Point. Moore recommends forming an ad hoc or blue ribbon panel to look into the issue of possible development. Also during the meeting the Council will be asked to approve a resolution that would move the Farmers Market next year to Main Street. The Council meets at 6 p.m. at the City-County Government Center in Fond du Lac.

Will my taxes go down and my services
(brush pick-up bulky waste pickup) etc. come back when you give away the park?

Leave Lakeside Park the way it is. If any of the council votes to change it, we will vote them out of office.

I'll wager that Commonwealth has their hand in this one
