The City of Fond du Lac Department of Public Works is informing the motoring public of an
upcoming street lane restriction on Johnson Street between Marquette Street and

the brick pavers located in the crosswalks and replacing them with colored,
stamped concrete on Johnson Street east of Main Street starting the week of August
3rd. Construction barricades and barrels will begin being placed on
Sunday, August 2 at 8:00pm.

·
The project will
begin on Johnson Street from Marquette Street to National Avenue and is
scheduled to begin Monday, August 3rd. During this project, traffic
control will be set up to allow two-way traffic on Johnson Street.

·
For Phase 1,
two-way traffic will be set up in the eastbound lanes and the intersections of
Amory Street and Wilson Avenue will be closed on the south side of Johnson
Street.  Crews will be working in the
north lanes of Johnson Street.

·
For Phase 2, two-way
traffic will switch to westbound lanes and the intersections Amory Street,
McKinley Street, Weis Avenue and Wilson Avenue will be closed on the north side
of Johnson Street. Crews will be working in the south lanes of Johnson Street.

stops at these intersections.
