Laurie Snelling Comes To Downtown FDL

Award-winning author, Lauraine Snelling, has chosen Annie’s Fountain City Café as one of the sites on her 2016 book signing tour. Snelling has authored more than eighty books, with sales of over 2 million copies. Her visit to Fond du Lac will include book signing, a 30 minute talk from the author, and a Q&A session at Annie’s Fountain City Cafe from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Tuesday, August 2.

Snelling’s career began in 1982 with the release of her first book, “Tragedy on the Toutle.” She is best known for books about horses targeted to young female readers, but has also broadened her scope to include historic and contemporary fiction and nonfiction for a wide array of readers young and old.

Ann Culver, owner of Annie’s Fountain City Café, is a long-time reader and fan of Snelling’s work; “She is an amazing author and we are honored that she had chosen our café as a stop on her book tour.” The Café received special access to some of the Snelling family recipes and will feature the authentic Norwegian dishes to complement the book-signing.
